Dear Sir/Madam/Devotees,.

We have enclosed the invitation for Sangeetotsava and Raamotsava 2021..

We cordially invite you all to participate in all the programs and extend your generous help to organise the same..

Last year due to Covid 19 pandemic though we had made all arrangements for the Sangeetotsava and Raamotsava we were not able to proceed due Government imposed restrictions and lockdown.

However all religious program and rituals were conducted as usual inside Ramamandir only from 2nd April to 18th April. (As per Covid 19 restrictions).

On 13 April, Sri Ramapattabhisheka was performed inside Ramamandir. In this connection ANNADANA was arranged for Stranded persons housed in Nanjaraja bahadur choultry after taking necessary permission and precautions. For about 200 persons.

On Shankara Jayanthi day after pooja in Ramamandir. Food was distributed to Cheluvamba hospital patients , Doctors and nurses and staff after following government guidelines.

On Mahaaganapati Mangalarati day as usual Service activity was conducted giving required materials to deserving handicapped persons, old age homes and to Department of Social welfare. Etc.

By the grace of God all other poojas, festivals and rituals have been conducted as usual in Ramamandir without breaking the tradition at the same time following Covid 19 restrictions.

My Humble Pranamas to all the respected devotees of Sri Rama, I salute to the holy feet of the Archarya, His Holiness Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasamstanam Dakshinamnaya Sri SharadaPeetham, Sringeri. for His kind blessings for all the activities of Sri Ramabhyudhaya Sabha being conducted on the occasion of this 125th year celebration. I started my humble seva towards Sri Ramaabhudaya Sabha, one of the oldest temples of Lord Sri Rama in the Mysore City, when I was called upon as an invitee for the Centenary celebrations of the Sabha in 1990. Later in 1995, I participated in the Samrajya Pattabhisheka activity of the Sabha proudly volunteering as the Vice President of the Sabha. For the past 12 years I have been serving as the President of the Sabha and I feel very fortunate, honoured and privileged to be a part of the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Sabha. This is an occasion of great delight to all of us. Any organization, to be celebrating its 125th anniversary only shows the dedication of the founders and earnest efforts all the other members working for the Sabha and its growth.

Sri Ramaabhudaya Sabha has been performing daily Poojas, Annadanam, Prasadam distribution etc., since the beginning. Rama Pattabhishekam, Hanumotsava, Shayanotsava, are being celebrated along with Ganapathi Puje and Dhanurmasa celebrations. Now along with these celebrations, with the support of benevolent trustees and public the Sabha is being able to conduct various goodwill work for the benefit of the society like donating wheel chairs to oldage people, whites canes for the blind, walking sticks and also providing lot of support for educating the poor and needy children as a special part of Ganapathi Puje. The Sabha has been inviting artists not only from Local Mysore but from other cities and states and also international artists have adorned the stage during the well conducted Music Festival being conducted by the Sabha since last 10 years. Music lovers from all sectors have been able to enjoy and quench their souls from these festivals.

I express my sincere gratitude to all the member scholars who have been monumental in bringing out this magazine. I also thank all the sponsors who have generously published their advertisements in this magazine. With immense gratitude, I also thank all the donors like the Puduvatuu donors who have been of great support. On the memorable occasion of this 125th anniversary of the Sabha, along with the various cultural and music festivals that are being organized, we are also performing Ramayana Pravachana, Rama Taraka Homa, Shata Sita Kalyanam Rudrabhishekam, Sita Kalyanam and various other religious programs. Thanks to all the Sabha Trustees, donor members and volunteers who have taken the initiative for organizing all these various programs. I request one and all to come and participate whole heartedly in this epic 125th Anniversary of the Sabha and reap the grace the Lord Sri Rama.
